On March 1, 2026, the Central Asian Institute for Environmental Research (CAIER) became a certified GRI partner in the Asia-Pacific region.
This region comprises more than 50 countries, and we now have the official right to conduct training courses on GRI standards and issue certificates with the GRI logo, both online and offline. In addition, we can use the GRI platform as an international venue to announce our events and course calendar.
For CAIER, this is not just a new status. Over the past five years, the Institute has been consistently building up its systematic work in ESG consulting, supporting companies and financial institutions in matters of sustainable development, non-financial reporting, and the implementation of ESG approaches in management processes.
“I am convinced that high-quality expertise is impossible without systematic training. It is through education that a mature understanding of standards, a common professional language, and the practical ability to apply the principles of sustainable development in the real activities of companies are formed,” says Aselle Tasmagambetova, ecologist and founder of CAIER.
The partnership with GRI strengthens CAIER's mission to develop applied ESG expertise in the region and train specialists capable of working with standards at the international level.
In the near future, we will present the calendar of the first courses and invite companies, financial institutions, and specialists interested in in-depth and systematic work with GRI standards to participate.
