CAIER and Bureau Veritas: a new level of laboratory research
The Central Asian Institute for Environmental Research (CAIER) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the French company Bureau Veritas, a global leader in laboratory testing, inspection, and certification.
The Bureau Veritas group of companies was founded in 1828 and has more than 84,000 employees in over 1,600 offices and laboratories around the world.
CAIER and Bureau Veritas plan to work closely together in the areas of quality, ecology, and sustainable development. The memorandum of cooperation provides for joint research and expert work, the organization of training events, seminars, and the exchange of experience.
On behalf of CAIER, the document was signed by Daulet Asylbayev, Managing Director of CAIER, and Ceebu Karthikeyan Nair, CEO of Bureau Veritas Kazakhstan LLP.
The parties also agreed to promote the implementation of international standards and best practices, develop cooperation in the field of digital and innovative solutions, and participate in environmental and climate initiatives, including decarbonization projects.
