CAIER's environmental partnership with Kyrgyzstan continues

The Central Asian Institute for Environmental Studies (CAIER) is constantly raising awareness of sustainable development principles, ESG and environmental education.

The day before, Ayzhan Chynybaeva, former Vice Mayor of Bishkek, head of the Eco Demi Foundation and Ambassador of World Cleanliness Day in Kyrgyzstan, paid an official visit to CAIER.

The founder of CAIER, ecologist Aselle Tasmagambetova met the guest from neighboring Kyrgyzstan and told her about the projects the Institute is currently working on.

Aselle Tasmagambetova said that CAIER has been actively engaged in water conservation for several years, has conducted a number of studies on transboundary waters and has patented methods of water purification, as well as developed innovative devices for rainwater harvesting.

The Institute has a high-tech RnD center, which is equipped with modern equipment for a wide range of laboratory research, CAIER has also patented a unique way of producing construction materials from industrial waste.

It should be reminded that earlier CAIER and the Academy of Sustainable Development of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at integrating the principles of sustainable development and ESG in the financial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. The agreement will become the basis for a long-term partnership aimed at improving the competencies of market participants and developing conditions for sustainable finance in Kyrgyzstan.
Partnership covers various activities that will help strengthen the ESG agenda in the country.
